We invite you to the international frame drum workshop – Zohar Fresco Framedrums Camp 2026 – 3rd edition
The idea for this camp was born in 2018 in Haifa, Israel, during a workshop at the Zohar Fresco School. This idea is to bring together people who want to develop their frame drumming skills, love drumming, and enjoy spending time together in a natural setting. The first camp took place in 2024. Here’s a report from it.

DIVISION INTO GROUPS

The camp is divided into three groups – Basic, Medium, and Advanced. Group selection is made during the camp; you don’t have to declare your group at registration. The camp program is based on compositions for the frame drum created by Zohar Fresco. Within each composition, we learn or develop various finger techniques, polyrhythmic arrangements, rhythm vocalization, and playing styles (lap style, upright). In the morning session, we familiarize ourselves with the general structure of each composition, after which we work in groups at a level tailored to the participants’ needs. Zohar is assisted in running the camp by members of the band Piemat Miriam and Jacek Żelazek. A detailed daily schedule can be found below.

Fees

You have several payment options for your camp.

ACCOMMODATION AT OUR FARM

  1. PLN 3,230 – ACCOMMODATION IN A HOUSE, rooms for 3, 4, or 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided. The house has 3 bathrooms for guests. Vegetarian meals from dinner on August 9th to breakfast on August 16th.
  2. PLN 2,795 – ACCOMMODATION at the campsite or in the loft in the barn, or your own camper; your own tent is required. Mattresses are provided in the loft. Maximum occupancy is 12 people in the loft. Vegetarian meals from dinner on August 9th to breakfast on August 16th. Toilets and showers are available at the campsite.

ACCOMMODATION IN A SEPARATE HOUSE IN THE VILLAGE, 800 METERS FROM US

  1. PLN 3,820 – room with a double bed. Vegetarian meals from lunch on August 9th to breakfast on August 16th
  2. PLN 3,230 – a place in a double room, two single beds. Vegetarian meals from lunch on August 9th to breakfast on August 16th

PURCHASING A TICKET FOR THE CAMP OR PAYING A PARTIAL TICKET FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE – if for any reason you wish, you can resell the ticket yourself.

IF YOU NEED TO RENT OR BUY AN INSTRUMENT FROM ME, PLEASE INDICATE THIS IN YOUR REGISTRATION – the Foundation covers the cost of renting an instrument for the duration of the camp.

GETTING THERE:

By car – address: Silpia Duża 9, 29-100

By train – to Włoszczowa Północ or Włoszczowa station.

Airport Chopin in Warsaw or Airtport Balice in Cracovia.
From both airports you have direct train to Central Station (Warsav) or Main Station (Cracovia).
Than take the train to Wloszczowa Polnoc (Włoszczowa Północ), about 1,5 – 2 h by train. Than we will pick you up from Włoszczowa Północ to our camp – it is 15 minutes by car 🙂 The cost of transportation from the train station to the camp is 30 PLN.
