The bębenek radomski is a traditional Polish folk instrument that was created at the beginning of the 19th century. Its story comes a little from all over Poland and Ukraine. The drum, as a member of the family of percussion instruments, was created to color the sound of bands and to maintain the rhythm.
My instrument has been slightly modified. It has a screw tuning system, although they are hidden in the body, so you can play it not only with a stick but also with your hands. The tuning system also means that you can bring out beautiful low and deep colors on it, but also very concentrated higher tones.
In this drum, you can replace the plates yourself thanks to a very simple screw system.
